◎专注于角膜病、白内障等眼病的临床和基础研究工作。完成各类疑难白内障手术4万余例，角膜移植手术近万例。改进了角膜内皮移植手术方法，在国内率先开展了飞秒激光角膜移植手术并首先制定了飞秒激光角膜移植手术规范，创造性提出了上皮瓣下胶原交联技术，总结了中国人高度近视眼人工晶状体计算经验公式(LSW2公式)并得到广泛采用，在国际上首创了晶体前囊膜保护角膜内皮的飞秒白内障手术技术，并首次将结膜囊持续灌洗法用于真菌性角膜炎治疗。

◎Professor Shaowei Li specializes in clinical and basic research on corneal diseases, cataracts, and other eye conditions. He has completed over 40,000 complex cataract surgeries and nearly 10,000 corneal transplant surgeries. He improved the surgical techniques for corneal endothelial transplantation and pioneered femtosecond laser-assisted corneal transplant surgery in China, establishing the first surgical guidelines for this procedure. He innovatively proposed the subepithelial flap collagen cross-linking technique. He summarized the empirical formula for intraocular lens calculation in highly myopic Chinese patients (LSW2 formula), which has been widely adopted. Internationally, he pioneered the femtosecond cataract surgery technique using the anterior lens capsule to protect corneal endothelial cells. And he introduced the continuous conjunctival sac irrigation method for the treatment of fungal keratitis for the first time.

◎Professor Shaowei Li has published more than 150 papers domestically and internationally, authored or co-authored 12 specialized books, and is responsible for more than 20 national, provincial, and ministerial-level research projects, receiving 13 awards at various levels.
